About the author:
He was born in 1941 in Osijek, where he began his life journey that would take him to Zagreb. Although he graduated from the Medical Faculty in Zagreb, his lifelong passion was always art. He studied painting with numerous renowned painters, thoroughly mastering techniques and developing his own recognizable style.
In the early 1970s, he began his exhibiting career, which over the years included about 30 solo and nearly 100 group exhibitions. As a member of the Association for Visual Fine Culture, he actively participates in artistic life, exploring new expressive possibilities and sharing his experiences.
Although his medical career laid the foundation for his scientific thinking, painting became the central expression of his creativity. He lives and works in Zagreb, where he continues to create works reflecting his deep introspection, a blend of scientific precision and artistic freedom. His oeuvre testifies to a lasting quest for beauty, truth, and meaning, both in nature and in the human soul.
