About the author:
Milena Braniselj was born in 1951 in Ljubljana. She graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where she also completed specialization under Prof. Slavko Tihec. She is a member of ZDSLU.
During her career, she has held 47 solo exhibitions and over 190 group exhibitions, as well as created 21 public monuments. She is the recipient of 5 awards and numerous recognitions.
She lives and works in Cerknica as a freelance artist. Her work encompasses painting and sculpture, with a particular emphasis on stylized mobile forms and three-dimensional artistic constructions characterized by elegance and refinement in simplicity.
