Ng Bee – Flying Rhino Over Rab

About the author:

He was born in 1952 in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia. He graduated in fine arts from Nanyang University in Singapore in 1976 and from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1979. This was the first step in unlocking creative potentials that he uses not only in artistic creation but also in enriching everyday life.

For the past 30 years, he has been actively involved in the development of art and culture in Malaysia through organizing workshops, art exhibitions, seminars, and symposiums. He has exhibited in numerous solo exhibitions in Malaysia and participated as an author and organizer in many juried international exhibitions. He is the founder of the Sasarans Art Association in his hometown.

For Ng Bee, art is present in everything that exists – around us and within us. His work represents a synthesis of Eastern tradition and Western artistic techniques, creating a unique visual language.
