Galerija Makek – Paradiso was founded in 2000 in Zagreb and on the island of Rab. The gallery’s activities have transformed into the presentation of a collection created during its 20 years of activity, primarily through the organization of art colonies named Art Colony Paradiso.
The goal of Galerija Makek – Paradiso is the presentation and promotion of modern and contemporary Croatian and European visual art. This is achieved through its permanent exhibition, as well as through solo exhibitions and group exhibitions defined by thematic or stylistic contexts, and through collaboration with Croatian and international artists.
